PLANTRONICS GAMECOM 818 Wireless Gaming Headset, PC/MAC
Pros: Works. Good sound.
Cons: This an RF unit not Bluetooth. Its range is extremely limited, losing signal just by turning your back to the transmitter.
Other Thoughts: Another revue noted that it did not fit over the ears. These are not circumaural headphones. They are over the ear. Checking Plantronics's web site, this is a discontinued product.

Plantronics Rig 7.1 Surround Sound USB Gaming Headset + USB Amplifier
Pros: Pretty comfortable! No faux leather that makes my ears hot. Plantronics uses a breathable cloth meterial that I much prefer and a big reason why I ordered them. Decently light weight and fully over-the-ear design. Sound quality for both gaming and music is what you should expect for the price. Its not bad but a little too much bass for a well rounded headset.
Cons: While the design of an interchangeable microphone system is a good idea in theory, it definitely needs some more refinement. No matter what audio input I use on my computer or laptop, and I have tried 3 different ones, I get a humming and strange rumbling type of feedback from the microphone when I am being completely silent. The moment I turn off the microphone it works perfectly without audible feedback. I have spent a good month trying to tweak it with different audio softwares and sound recording programs Etc.. Nothing fixes it. My best guess is that it is poorly wired and poorly insulated. So you get what you pay for, for $30.
Other Thoughts: I'll say it again, you get what you pay for.. I tend to disable the mic when gaming alone and using this headset because I enjoy the comfort and lack of heat build-up due to the cloth they use on the ear cups. But when gaming with friends I go back to my trusty Logitech g330.

Pros: when it works sound quality is good. i like the ability to mute by moving boom to upright position
Cons: software not intuitive. product came without instructions. headset malfunctions and will not connect if powered down then back on. battery life is very short, 3 hours max
Other Thoughts: i would not recommend buying refurbished hardware from newegg. headset is not 90 days old and ineligible for RMA. boom was dirty upon arrival.

Logitech G930 Wireless Gaming Headset
Pros: -Great audio sound
-Programmable keys are pretty nice to have
Cons: Early time of me owning it
- Would have a static sound that starts quiet and gets loud after about a minute in which you have to leave headset off for a while until it stops
-leather earpads are very hot on your head.

After owning for a year+
- Randomly disconnects when unplugged - even at full charge
- Periodically disconnects while plugged in - About every 15 seconds. This happens fairly often when it does begin occuring.
-leather cups deteriorate after a while due to heat and sweat. (You can buy replacements.. they are fairly cheap)

Other Thoughts: I really want to like this headset. it has great sound and decent wireless capabilities. No more getting my headset cord caught on things. BUT after owning it for a while, i just get more frustrated at it than anything. Half the battle of me trying to play games and such is just getting my headset to connect and stay on.

Overall - it was a great headset for a while, then it just became greatly frustrating to deal with.

Turtle Beach EAR FORCE STEALTH 450 3.5mm/ USB Connector Circumaural Wireless Gaming Headset
Pros: -Immediately sync'd and worked after some mic volume adjustments.
-Did not interfere yet with my USB Xbox Controller Dongle, which sits right next to headset dongle. (other reviewer had troubles)
-Crisp sound
-Told my voice was nice and clear in games and in discord.
-Haven't pushed distance beyond 20 feet and two house walls. Good with that distance though.
-Headphones rotate 100 degrees so you can lay them on the table nicely.
-After I set the headphone frame to my head, it hasn't caused any problems or huge discomforts. My head is bigger, so the pinch is what I try to avoid in headsets. This one did a bit, but wearing and self stretching the top head band has helped a lot for comfort.
-Mic is removable if you wish to use as just regular headset. If you don't get a phone adapter for USB Micro to USB Female, to which works for wireless RF dongle use fyi, the set does come with a regular audio wire to plug in like a regular headset.
Cons: -The size on the inside of the ear piece is the usual turtle beach size, which may cause discomfort over time on the ears if they're bigger or equal to the inner area for the ears. That has been my only problem as my ears are almost exactly the width of the earpieces. After some placement testing, it has not been a major problem for me. Not worth taking a star off since the company can't control genetics.
-The only thing that was annoying since it is new to me, is the 'Mic Monitoring' feature that seems common with TB headsets. It causes the mic to feed in slightly while not in use so you can hear your own voice. It keeps you from yelling loudly while you wear them and play loud games. It was odd at first and it cannot be turned off, unlike other TB headsets that allow them to. (Hold 'mic mute' button until the feature turns off, works for other headsets, but not this one.) I have already gotten use to it since it doesn't make echos or mess with my game. So unfortunate that it is forced, but also not worth removing a star as I already don't hear it anymore.
Other Thoughts: NOTE: I have only had the headset for one week and will update it if problems arise. $130 is a lot for the headset to me, but others may disagree. I got it for $100 on cyber Monday, which seems like a good value to me personally. If you get a discount of under $100, it is very much worth it for the switch to wireless.

Pros: It has good sound, easy to set up, and nice USB cable controls and length
Cons: Its fragile, the base of the headphones connecting to the headrest will break from the ear buds weight really easily when you put it down, pick it up theres no way to prevent it since it can happen with just regular handling of it
Other Thoughts: Its an okay product but I only got 22 months of use out it before I had to throw it out, I would not advise anyone else to get this product since it wont last that long

Pros: none as it was broken.
Cons: I just got my gaming headset and after testing it for a while of about 15 minutes, the pc stop feeding sound into the headphones, sound was coming out through my speakers instead. The light on the dongle was gone. I realised, the USB stopped working. tried plugging and unplugging on different usb ports and the headphones didn't work. I've tried it on different PCs and it still doesn't work. This is annoying for a brand new headset.

Pros: -I guess the only thing I liked was sound, im a big fan of sound. Not it's sound but sound in general.
Cons: -Doesn't properly create a seal to isolate noise
-Isn't surround sound. Its a stereo headphone. A cheap wal- mart headphone is as good as this
-Low to no bass at all
-Not at all holds up to its price point
Other Thoughts: Better off buying a razer kraken.

Rosewill Prelude - RWH-001 - On-Ear Wood Headphones, Swivel Ear Cups, Headset
Pros: Really liked the look of these, and the price has been low - I bought them for $30 with a $15 rebate, they've dropped to lower with no rebate. It comes with cords that detach from the headset (a must for me after having a dog chew through the cord of a $100 headphones that were fixed to the headset), and the cords seem strong. The option of having different cords is nice, if maybe a bit pointless - there's really no reason to NOT use the one with the mic. It doesn't really add any additional weight that you'd notice.
Cons: I normally use Sennheiser headphones (HD 598 for home and HD 429S for my phone/while at work), so feel free to take that into consideration. First of all, I don't what sort of weird headed person they used to design these, but the fit is just BAD. Even without lowering the headphones, I have about a half-inch between my head and the top support. I bring the earpieces down four notches each on my Sennheisers. So you'd think these were made for someone with a huge head, but no. These are truly ON the ear headphones, and it's painful how they crush your ear down. The sound seemed OK, if a little muffled as people have mentioned, but I couldn't really wear them long enough to get a decent opinion. To me, they were that uncomfortable. Again, I'm used to around the ear headphones instead of on the ear, but man. Just not pleasant.
Other Thoughts: I use headphones for pretty much everything, so I like having multiple sets, but I can't think of a good use for these. If you're used to tiny headphones or have a very weirdly shaped head, you might enjoy these. Think giant bulbous cranium with tiny ears. I mean stereotypical alien type head. That may be who these were designed for. If so, I'm very sorry, aliens, I didn't mean to insult you. I'm glad you have headphones that fit you.

Cons: Does not come with any adapter for use with 3.5mm audio interface. Plastic head adjustment strap, will see if it gets brittle and breaks.
Other Thoughts: Got these Free with game laptop purchase, but very impressed with quality. Sound quality is just as good as my $100 Sennheiser headphones. Mine had a surplus loose screw inside one of the the cups. Had to disassemble to remove, seemed well built inside, no sloppy wiring and hot glue like many cheap products. I have one of their mice also, and would not hesitate to buy this brand again.

Logitech G933 USB Connector Circumaural Wireless 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset
Pros: - Great sound quality. One of the few things Logitech did right with this.

- Comfortable. Able to wear them all day with little discomfort.

- Long battery life (if you can get them to take a charge in the first place).
Cons: - Bulky. Logitech sacrifices slim design to bring you buttons and lights that you'll never use!

- Flimsy. The phones rotate inwards with absolutely no resistance, and is stopped by 2 plastic pieces clashing together. DO NOT pick up or set down these headphones with one hand! DO NOT even toss them gently onto your bed or there's a good chance you will break them. DO NOT let other people even touch them, because NOBODY expects a pair of headphones to be this flimsy and accidents are likely.

- Padding on the top of the headphones is cheaply glued on. Has been coming undone since I bought them. Often pulls my hair when taking them off.

- Terrible software. But that's typical of Logitech products. They seem so focused on making their software look pretty, that they forgot to make it actually work.

- After 2-3 months of ownership the headphones have stopped taking a charge. At first it was about a 50% chance of taking a charge but recently I can't get them to take a charge at all. Worst part is if they were taking a charge I wouldn't know it. As soon as I plug the headphones into the USB the software says "Please wake up or power on your device" even though I never turned them off. And I can't get this to change no matter what I do, whether I power them off and on multiple times or unplug and plug them back in, it doesn't seem to matter. And the battery icon that's supposed to show the current charge level just gives me a question mark... very informative. But wait, there's more!!! The G logo on the sides pulse a blue color when you plug them in and power them off, indicating that they are charging; once they are done charging they stay blue so that you know they are at 100% charge. These headphones continue to do that even when they are not actually taking a charge, fooling me into taking a dead headset to work. You can imagine the grief this has caused me.
Other Thoughts: Headphones are vitally important to me as I use them in many aspects of my life including working in support, playing video games, listening to music, and playing the drums.

The only good things about these headphones were the sound quality, comfort, and battery life but you might as well scratch all of those things off the list. I lose the great sound quality because the software is incapable of recognizing my device when its plugged in. I lose comfort every time these headphones rip my hair out because Logitech apparently can't afford some decent glue. And I lose the battery life when they don't take a charge in the first place.

I would NOT buy these again.
I do NOT recommend these headphones to anyone.

Logitech G430 USB Connector Circumaural Surround Sound Gaming Headset
Pros: 7.1 surround sound is very good, especially during gaming sessions that permit it (my game is War Thunder)
Extremely comfortable to use during long PC streaming or gaming sessions - fits over my ears so there is no pressure
Wired - no charging or batteries to worry about (cord has decent length with volume and mic control close to user)
Relatively inexpensive
Cons: USB Adapter impedes the sound volume when used, while direct connection of the mini headphone jacks do not
7.1 sound, while very good, is not as crisp and sharp as the G930 wireless headphones (not a big con for me as explained below)
Other Thoughts: I'm retired and use my computer headphones a lot every day for gaming and streaming content. I've owned the G430 headphones for over 2 years now and they are excellent for what I do.

As I stated in the "Cons" section the G930 headphones have better sound quality but they have to be charged often (can be done with cord while using but I game and stream for long periods, so that is a bit of an annoyance for me). I ended up giving the G930 set to my son who can let them charge while he's at work, and I just use the G430 headphones all day long.

The USB adapter that came with my G430s finally died, and that is when I discovered it had been impeding the sound from the beginning. I get much higher volume now by just using the mini sound jack, so the death of the USB jack was a blessing in disguise!

This is the second Logitech wireless product that I have purchased and so far they have 2 strikes. The audio pops with the wireless dongle less than a foot away. Oddly, the other Logitech devices that I own have been mostly great so it seems that they just can't get wireless right. Plantronics Rig 7.1 Surround Sound USB Gaming Headset + USB Amplifier
Pros: They are the best sounding and most comfortable headphones I have seen under $100
Cons: The only cons are the flimsy headset cable for the mic which mine still works fine but I am careful with it and the other issue I have with it is the headphone conn to the computer. My sits on my desk and the connector is kind of high which causes the cable to be hanging down which has caused the wires inside the connector to become touchy at times. For the current $39 price you absolutely can't go wrong if you take care of your headphones and are not really rough on them. They will last years with proper care.

Other Thoughts: I wanted to replace my gaming headset with this, as I rarely use the mic on my current one. If I order another one, I'll have to pick a bigger model though, I hate getting my ears (at least the tips) crushed to the side of my head. Gave them to my wife, who has smaller ears.

The padding on the head-rest, matched with the padding on the ears is good enough to make this headset easy to wear for extended periods of time.
-Braided cable.
-Basic in-line mute/volume have been going strong for about a year now.
-Plug and play, there are no drivers needed for this to work.
Cons: This being $50, it has to have a downfall in some way, and that way happens to be the microphone. It's not the worst thing in the world, as in people can hear me clearly when I'm speaking. But going back to be having a big head, that also means that the distance from my ear to my mouth is farther than some people. This makes the mic not reach my mouth efficiently, so the mic sometimes doesn't pick up my voice really well.
One way to get around that is lowering the mic sensitivity in the application you are using, I use Discord, and you can manually change the input sensitivity.
Another way to get around that is by upping the decibels in your computers microphone settings. This isn't the best solution as it also adds white noise behind your voice when you are speaking.
Other Thoughts: All in all it's a pretty good cheaper headset. It's kept me going for a year now, and I haven't had very many issues with it. The mic part I can work with since I got on sale for $30 which makes my specific situation even lighter. If you're on a budget where you can't spend about $80 or so to get the next tier up, get this headset. If you can splurge a little bit, and don't mind spending $80+ for a headset, then don't buy this one.

Logitech G933 USB Connector Circumaural Wireless 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset
Pros: -Fairly sturdy build
-Padding is comfortable
-Mic sounds good for a headset. It sounds more like a comms mic, rather than voice accurate, but that's a small issue
-Mic is also concealable, doesn't stick out and look ridiculous
-Sound quality is good (more on that later)
-RGB is a great feature
-Highly customizable in the software
-RGB looks great. An argument would be that "you can't see it so what's the point" but I think it provides a great accent to your build, if you have a color schemed station. If not, they can be shut off.
-Personally, I find that the headset as a whole looks great; i think most of Logitech's products look somewhat ridiculous. It's still a "gamer" design, but looks more mature and sturdy than previous models
Cons: *These are minor inconveniences, the real factor on deciding to purchase is sound, price, and build quality, but these should be noted*
-Swivel arms are a tad floppy
-Macro keys on the back are fairly useless, and the volume wheel isn't grippy. I find myself groping for it awkwardly, and the increments in volume aren't all that great. More efficient to use a volume slider on your desktop or keyboard, or game options
-Microphone can be a nuisance to extend outwards and retract
-For smaller heads, this headset won't grip your head very well. I have a large head so they fit great but it's something to keep in mind
-Once set up, these headphones work great, but the first day or two had me reinstalling drivers and having to deal with Logitech's bug-ridden gaming software (it freezes constantly so adjusting settings is a crapshoot, though doable)
-Reset switch is a pinhole button, which is a pain in any product.
Other Thoughts: =Sound Quality=
The two I can compare to are the Razer Krakens, Astro A50s, and the Audio Technica ATH M50xs (which I use primarily). Bear in mind that the G933s headphones are built for surround sound gaming. This means punchy bass and surround sound, not total accuracy for audiophiles. For the price, and considering the wireless connection, they sound great. It does take plenty of tweaking, as out of the box presets are garbage for balance (most of them sounded flat, or overly bass boosted). To compensate where these headphones falter, I took the lower frequencies and turned them up close to max, with small variations. Mids should be slightly lower than the middle line, as well as treble. After testing with a wide range of music, this mode produced the most accuracy, with audio quality on par with the A50s. At default presets, they sound tinny and hollow. Don't buy this headset just to listen to music and watch netflix.
Gaming, everything sounds immersive. The airspace in the headphones really gives it that roomy feel. Bass is deep and punchy. I played Titanfall 2 with these for a while, so ill use it as an example. BT's voice was deep and gravelly, and it really sounded like he was speaking to you through actual comms. The environment felt real due to the 7.1 surround sound. Audio location became an actual factor for locating enemies, although it wasn't as specific as I had hoped. Cinematic games are where these headphones work best (games such as Battlefield, Titanfall, CoD, Skyrim, etc).
So out of the box, these headphones don't sound stellar, but with the right tweaking they definitely sound great. The surround sound is accurate for gaming, considering its simulated 7.1.

=Build Quality=
These headphones are NOT for small heads. They would be a nuisance, constantly sliding around and possibly falling. Build quality is sturdy, solid, and heavy, but I'm not confident they would survive a drop that high. Padding is comfortable, so long sessions shouldn't be an issue (even considering the 7 hour battery life)

Who is this headphone for, and are there alternatives? I bought these headphones for a cleaner looking setup, wire-free, and accessorized. If you're coming from cheap headphones and have a 200$ budget, these produce great sound, and I can't think of a better wireless alternative in this price range. I switched from ATH-M50xs. They have monitor sound quality, and are VERY
VERY highly accurate (honestly my favorite pair of headphones, gaming or general listening), so if you want a clearer headset and don't care about punchy action or wires, those are the OBVIOUS alternative, as their sound quality is better and surround sound/soundstage is great. The Razer Krakens are more budget, and don't sound very good, so I would not recommend. If you can hold off and save another 100$, I would recommend the Audio Techinca ATH-ADG1X (wired) more, since they have clarity and gaming focus.

TL;DR: Best wireless gaming sound for the price (aesthetically and quality-wise), definitely recommended for anyone looking for a wireless headphone specifically, as there are always better wired alternatives for the price range.

PLANTRONICS GAMECOM 818 Wireless Gaming Headset, PC/MAC
Pros: + Decent sound...
+ On-ear controls are convenient
+ Battery life is good. Getting at least 6 hours of life out of the battery and, yes, it does work while charging.
+ Good range. Not nearly what's claimed, but that's to be expected. Personally, I can get about 25ft out of it reliably, which is plenty.
Cons: - Decent sound...and only decent. Definitely not as good as would be expected from such an expensive headset. There is also a faint, but definitely audible hiss when the headset is on. The headset is capable of surprisingly rich bass, but, unfortunately, that same bass is also heavily boosted within the headset itself. There doesn't seem to be a way to turn this "feature" off, either, so you're kinda stuck with either third-party equalization software to tone it down, or using the built-in EQ on your sound chipset (if it has one). The microphone sound quality isn't abysmal, but it's far, far from good. While I'm perfectly intelligible at all times, every single one of the people I talk to on a regular basis sounds better than I do, and I know several of them are rocking sub-$10 no-name Chinese wired headsets.

- While it's nice that the mic flips up to mute, if you adjust the boom inwards at all (and you probably will, in an effort to deal with the pooty mic), you can't actually flip it up all the way without it colliding with your head. I would have preferred either an additional mute button on the ear in addition to the flip-to-mute, or just ditch the latter altogether in favor of a plain-old button.

-By FAR my biggest complaint about these things is the shape and size of the earmuffs. I'd read the reviews, and assumed they were similar to my current pair. You just have to get used to them, you know? But they're AWFUL. It's like Plantronics couldn't decide whether to make them supra-aural or circumaural, so they just took the worst of both and made it more than the sum of its parts. The pads are fairly large, much larger than almost any supra-aural set, but too small to be circumaural. So, instead, they sit around your ears on the sides, and on them at the top/bottom. This becomes extremely painful after a couple hours of use, to the point that, currently, I'd rather stick to the headphones these were meant to replace. For reference, those are a pair of Turtle Beach ZL-a headphones that I've repaired twice, and the earmuffs are so beat-up that the foam on the right earpiece isn't actually attached anymore; it's just sandwiched between the speaker and my head. But, until I can be arsed to route out some plastic to fit on the speakers and fit new pads on, that's STILL preferable to the earache the 818 induces.
Other Thoughts: I got these on sale for $20. Being more than a bit into electronics and manufacturing technology, I figured, at worst, I was buying something to tinker with until it was to my liking. But, good lord, who even tested this design? I would think the only ones with ears small enough to fit the earpieces don't have heads big enough for the headband!

If, for some odd reason, you're looking for a cheap headset to use for no more than, say, an hour at a time, and you see these on sale, go for it. Everyone else, save yourself the literal pain and get something else. Not necessarily more expensive, just something that doesn't crush your ear or sound like you're talking through a string on a tin can.

Cons: Laughably cheap construction, terrible sound quality.
Other Thoughts: newegg has miscategorized them as circumaural, which may hold true for infants and small children but for everyone else they're actually supra-aural.

Sennheiser PC350 Special Edition High Performance Gaming Headset - Brown Box Version
Pros: - high clarity
- good mid range
- limited bass ( the bass is very capable but there are certain freq. that will cause the headset to rattle when you have the gain pushed up too much )
- fix this by adjusting your equalizer and lower volume. I should mention this happens on HiFi music on an amped sound card and pushing it to it's volume limits. normal listening at good long term volumes leave this headset a set above.
Cons: - light compared to other headsets leading to a "cheap" feeling.
- limited sound stage from being closed back
-150ohm impedance requires amp to see benefits
- you have to tinker with the equalizer to reap the best sound
-audio drivers are more capable than the platform that holds them.
Other Thoughts: Given I bought a card capable to powering the headset and the software to tweak them they are absolutely amazing for the price point. They made all the other $100 headsets sound so muddy and anemic.
I stole these for $77 on black friday.
would I buy again? No, I'll move on to something higher up there but for an entry level HiFi device these are great,

PLANTRONICS GAMECOM 818 Wireless Gaming Headset, PC/MAC
Pros: Great sound quality, not Dolby 7.1 but still really great.
Mic picks up my super quiet voice!
The mic actually mutes when you fold the boom up.
The earmuffs are a nice soft velvety like cloth. (Yes, I am calling them earmuffs)
They are really lightweight, I'd forget I had them on if not for one thing... (see cons)
Cons: The earmuffs are too tiny! I understand Plantronics was trying to go for a lighter more compact headset but these things barely cover my ears. It makes wearing them for a long period of time very awkward and for this reason alone I have to dock an egg.

The lightweight feature may just be this headset's downfall. I've only had this thing a few days and I'm afraid of breaking the plastic when I pull off this headset. It just doesn't feel as sturdy as my old Logitechs did.

The instructions on pairing the headset were dumb. Why tell me on page 2 that the device will automatically connect if I am supposed to manually pair it? Also, why put the instructions for manual pairing at the back of the book?! That should have been included on page 2!
Other Thoughts: This headset was 20 bucks with a promo code on black friday. I bought these to replace my dying Logitech headset and didn't really have it in my budget to spend more than 50 bucks on a new headset. I would say I am getting my money's worth, no matter how long they last.

-Charging Issues Early on. (Battery doesn't fully charge?)
-Wireless docking station and charging wires are a bit annoying to unwind and rewind.
-Headset can be uncomfortably tight after awhile, and the 'leather' material deteriorates if sweat builds up on it.

Corsair Gaming VOID Wireless RGB Gaming Headset - White
Pros: -Super Comfortable
-Great sound quality (especially the 7.1 surround)
-Incredible battery (about 10-12 hours for me)
-Amazing mic quality, all my voice chat friends tell me how clear the sound is.
Cons: -The ONE and only con is the Corsair CUE software.
As an owner of a K70 and a Schimitar mouse, I would love to get a bit more out of the software, I sometimes think my CPU just can't handle all the Lightning Link settings HOWEVER for just a headset, this won't really affect you.
Other Thoughts: I'm not sure why all the bad reviews, I've had nothing but success. I work from home for 10 hours a day (talking on the headset to customers). After I clock out, I proceed to use the headset to game and chat with friends for 4+ hours at night. Previous headsets never allowed this for me, they hurt my head after prolonged use and I just didn't even want to play games after work. This is a 10/10 for me, I've even recommended it to coworkers and they love it as much as I do.

SteelSeries Siberia 150 Gaming Headset with RGB Illumination and DTS Headphone:X 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound
Pros: -Worked well with the steelseries engine to make custom setting for different games and applications.
-The RGB rings were a nice touch to match the set up
Cons: -Stopped working within a week of using them. I have used them maybe 3-5 times. No strain or misuse. They just decided to stop working without any reason as to why. Extremely disappointed in steelseries for this.
Other Thoughts: -0/10 would never buy again.

Sennheiser PC350 Special Edition High Performance Gaming Headset - Brown Box Version
Pros: I purchased this at 77.99 from a black friday sale im very impressed with the quality/sound/mic is much more improved over say my old headsets which included a logitech g430 and razer Kraken Pro.
Cons: maybe the headband could be a bit wider really though its fine for me but i could imagine it being a little more comfortable with a bigger headband.
Other Thoughts: I dont know if this headset is worth 130$ at full price but im very satisfied with it overall and if you don't like it when you order it you always have the option for a refund.

Logitech G930 Wireless Gaming Headset
Pros: -Great Sound Quality
-Easy to Setup and Use
-Comfortable*
-Has Decent Range on Wireless**
-About 4-6 Hours of use per charging Cycle.

*But easily becomes uncomfortably warm.
**Assuming your walls are not signal canceling.
Cons: -Pull Down Microphone doesn't always turn Microphone back on, and you have to sometimes struggle with the thing 3-4 times.
-Charging Issues Early on. (Battery doesn't fully charge?)
-Wireless docking station and charging wires are a bit annoying to unwind and rewind.
-Headset can be uncomfortably tight after awhile, and the 'leather' material deteriorates if sweat builds up on it.
Other Thoughts: It's decent, but for a sometimes $75-150 product, I would expect a lot more reliability...

Pros: Great for the price! They are comfortable and have a great sound. Easy set up with Windows 10 basically it is plug and play then just pair the headset to the receiver.

Other Thoughts: I did purchase these for 19.99 on Black Friday so it was definitely worth the price for me. I would buy these again.

Cons: -requires you to buy a splitter to use on pc when it comes with a pc monitor for free

SteelSeries 5H V3 Headset
Pros: Steelseries is a good compony, with good customer support
Can connect to phones, laptops, pc, etc
Has an extended cord for pc
Good price
Comfortable
Retractable mic
Headset disconnects into 3 pieces for on the go
Cons: Had to return mine as defective after using it for about 7 months because there was a place in the headband where it wouldn't allow audio to come out of the right side.
Other Thoughts: Would have gave it a 5/5 if it wasn't defective. But steelseries has great customer service and was able to sort it out. I still recommend the headset as it is great for gaming and listening to music on your phone without paying $100

Logitech G930 Wireless Gaming Headset with 7.1 Surround Sound (981-000257R)
Pros: + Plays sound... sometimes...
+ The mic is clear and comes through effortlessly.
+ The setup is fairly easy and comes with its own manageable software that can make macros, sound thresholds, etc.
Cons: - Everything else...

Sound pops in and out constantly, I've ordered two of these over the past 5 years (first pair broke on accident when moving apartments) and both have the exact same problem. The headset will run fine for an hour or two, sometimes only a few minutes, and then the sound will drop and all communication cuts off when this happens (mic cuts out because the headset literally turned off). Sometimes you'll know before it happens because the sound quality drop will be as if someone was underwater or talking with gravel in their mouth. Even as I'm writing this, the headset dropped six times so far and counting...

THIS HAPPENS CONSTANTLY I’M SITTING RIGHT NEXT TO THE RECEIVER AND NOTHING IS BLOCKING IT. The sound will cut off then come back on, sometimes five or six times in succession every 4 hours, 1 hour, 30mins, 5mins. Looking up possible fixes requires changing settings in the configuration files to which no update has ever been given and Logitech certainly hasn't responded with any patch that doesn't even come close to fixing the issue because its mostly a hardware issue. Logitech use to do this in the past, make something that looks good on paper but, when implemented, it falls apart and the cracks start to show.

The headset will run for only four or five hours on full charge then will need to be plugged in. I feel at even reasonable volumes and activity this is way too short. Again, I feel the hardware is really lacking, you would think with how much hardware and space is behind your ear this could accommodate for a few more capacitors.

Also, have you ever had a headset that does not have the ability to control the volume until you turned it off and back on again? Well you're in luck, leave the volume alone for a while and the headset will become "idle" and no matter how much you scroll the wheel on the side of your head it won't matter. Turn it off, turn it back on, headset turns off by itself, turns itself on again, over, and over and over.
Other Thoughts: All in all, just pass on this headset completely. I know others have written on the sound "popping" and lack of charge. It seems like the only thing that the headset is capable of is sending communication out. You are better off with Apple ear buds.

G.SKILL RIPJAWS SR910 Real 7.1 Surround Sound USB Gaming Headset
Pros: -Direction Audio (That's why you buy these for games like R6: Seige and ext, so you can tell where the enemy is and be immersed in your game)
-Comfort (These are the most comfortable headset i've ever owned!!! I've worn them for hours and barely know they are there, they fit good on my normal/fathead)
Cons: -Mic Quality is very low (or i'm just accustomed to my cheap studio mic)
-Lack Bass (I thought people were just being picky when they complained about it, but the sub woofer speaker just doesnt pump much bass, more of a deep mid. and if you turn up the bass with the program it just sounds kinda forced. Remember these aren't for music)
Other Thoughts: Neutral thing are as follows...
-In-line Remote (It doesnt link to the software)
-LEDs (Neat to see inside of them but, they NEVER go off, but i keep mine in a drawer when not in use so no big deal for me)
-Software (Its neat and has a lot of options but most of them are useless or you can't tell the difference)

Other Thoughts
I'm loving it, especially the price I paid! I won't ever go back to virtual surround sound again!

Pros: -interchangeable ear pieces
-ground sound quality
-comfortable
-I can hear enemies sneaking around me in games like rainbow 6 siege
Cons: -the 7.1 feature can be hit or miss depending on the game (the feature can be turned off, so its not a huge deal)
Other Thoughts: Wont need to buy an extra sound card for gaming if you get this instead like me,
there are better headphones that offer a proper 7.1 surround experience but this is really solid at this price range

Sennheiser PC350 Special Edition High Performance Gaming Headset - Brown Box Version
Pros: It was a spectacular surprise to have such a top brand name put out something this bad. Awesomely bad surprise.
Cons: Poor tinny sounding audio even with an Astro brand mix amp. Without the amp the sound was awful at best. The fit is also bad, they grip your head above your ears fairly tight but, there is no pressure at the bottom of your ears and the cups don't even stay in contact with your head below your ears. Yes, there is a gap below your ears and it doesn't matter if you have a large round head like mine or a more narrow head like my son's.
Other Thoughts: I would not recommend this headset to anyone. It is the worst sounding headset I have put on in years and I've tried many brands and was happy with another top name brand in gaming headsets but, I just had to have this one since I had been lusting after it for years when it was well north of $120. I have returned this headset even though it was on sale for $80 and I'm having to pay a restocking fee. I couldn't stand to sell it for a profit on an auction site and pass on a complete catastrophe to someone else.

HyperX Cloud Stereo Gaming Headset for PC / PS4 / Mac / Mobile - Black
Pros: I like how it was shipped, packets surprise me a lot.
Feels comfortable, but only had it for a day.
Can plug into most popular media devices / controllers.
Good for on the move headset. stylish
Cons: Since it's a multiple use headset it has it withdraws. Meaning it's okay at doing everything it offers, but not good at doing those things.
Speakers are okay, but lacks good bass pick ups or sharp clear sounds.
Microphone is by far the worst I've encounter for a headset. Always a buzzing sound not matter how much you mess with the audio settings. Picks up every sound around you besides your voice. Usually have to have the mic right in front of your mouth
Most people have to run a third party device and program to get the microphone under control. even then still has issues
Asking price is insulting compare to all the cons with barely and pros.
Other Thoughts: I wouldn't recommend this to anymore as a headset, beside if you want a multiple use headset. Ex: PC/PS4/XBOX 1/CELL/LAPTOP
Lacks the basically simple use of a headset. Good sound and good microphone.
Maybe worth the $80 for all the adapters that comes with the packet, but the Headset itself is worth $30 at best.

-Has adjustable pads that fit into the top of the headset for different head sizes. Mine is about average so everything fits fine.

-Durable plastic construction
Cons: -I have to change the output device every time I want to switch from desktop speakers to the headset

Cons: .

Other Thoughts: .
I got these headphones as a free pack-in with the HTC Vive I purchased. They aren't bad, but I'm not sure I'd spend $30 or $40 on a pair, as I feel better headphones for the price exist on the market. The USB plug also is used for powering the LED lights only. It doesn't double as headphones with its own DAC, so watch out for that if you require such a feature.

Sennheiser PC350 Special Edition High Performance Gaming Headset - Brown Box Version
Pros: - Sound great (under perfect conditions)
- Very comfortable and design eliminates ear pressure
- Long cord
- Volume on headset makes volume easy to customize
Cons: - Sound great only when physically pressed against my head with my fingers preventing any air gaps
- If left to rest on my head naturally, the sound becomes tinny and like AM radio quality I assume from not sealing to my head and the sound pressure escaping thus eliminating the bass response.
- Also the sound changes annoyingly as I move my head from side to side from what I assume to also result from sound pressure changes as small gaps open up in different spots from not sealing in the sound perfectly on my ears.
- The only solution would seem to be a cranium crushing pressure of the headphone spring to get a perfect seal like my fingers do when they sound good or really thick sealing compressible foam to prevent air gaps forming.

Dislike that the headset microphone function is controlled by "deploying" the microphone as I use head tracker and attach the head tracking device to the microphone arm as reinforcement so there is no way to turn off/on the microphone easily from the headset in my application.
Other Thoughts: This is my first set of "closed headphones" so I don't know if it is a common problem of the style or a problem with my head shape that requires thicker foam around (I believe the back of) the ears to seal better. I know Sennheiser sells (expensive) replacement foam attachments at like $50 but that is not an additional expense I'm willing to absorb especially as I don't know if it is an improvement over the ones on these headpones. So in summary, if they seal on your head well, you will likely enjoy them. FYI...I have them connected to a high end Sound Blaster sound card.

Logitech G930 Wireless Gaming Headset
Pros: -The wireless feature on this headset, once I got used to it was very convenient.
-The headset in itself was comfortable to wear.
-Surround sound is pretty good.
-The software it comes with is basic but allows for a fair bit of customization with the buttons and sound levels.
Cons: -After about 1 year, the little bits of plastic holding the cups cracked
-Year and a half in, audio was distorting horribly, to the point where some games were unplayable. (Not completely sure this is on the headset's end)
-The little bits of plastic padding start to tear after a while.
-Bit on the pricey end isn't it?
Other Thoughts: Served me pretty well for the first year, then started experiencing the some issues. After reading some reviews about the plastic pieces breaking, I treated this headset better than I did myself at the time but to no avail, broke anyway. Might or might not be worth it to you depending on how much discretionary income you have. After reading around a bit, seems 2 years of life is pretty good considering my fairly heavy use of them. It is at the moment, held together with electrical tape. Would give 2.5 eggs if I could.

Rosewill Prelude - RWH-001 - On-Ear Wood Headphones, Swivel Ear Cups, Headset
Pros: Inexpensive at the time.
Looks nice.
Fits comfortably.
Two braided cables - one has a microphone.
Does a decent job at cancelling outside noises*

These run circles around the Sony clip-on ear-bud style phones they replaced. However, ear-bud style phones aren't really designed to compete with proper over-the-ear headphones like these.
Cons: Way too much bass.
Drowned out highs and mids.
Cords could be longer, softer, and have angled connectors.
*The wooden cups on the phones drastically amplify any bump, scrape, or other noise making action.
Other Thoughts: I can confirm the other reviews and say that this headset certainly puts out a ton of bass. Too much, in fact. It's a bit like putting your head really close to the bass speaker on a sound system, only to overhear the tweeters somewhere in the background. Indeed, this design seems to 'muddy' up the sound. The bass seems to take over and forces the mids and highs to fit in where they can and then drowns them out a bit.

Now, are you going to care about a little overpowered bass for 20 bucks? Maybe not, but I certainly would not have bought these at full retail price or even half retail price. Proper sound balance is the least I would expect from a heatset like this and it's just not here.

Came with two cables, which is nice, but I still find myself wishing for a longer cord.

I think my biggest complaint about this headset has to be the way any slight movement of the cord gets sent right up into the headset and amplified by the wooden ear cups. I use these to listen to music while doing computer work and the sound of the cord is a constant distraction. The cord really needs to plug-in somewhere that isn't wooden and give me a way to tuck it out of the way easier. If the cords were not so stiff and didn't plug directly into the wood, then this would largely not be an issue.

TLDR - They beat cheap ear buds, but only buy them if the price is right. They will not beat a proper Beats or Bose headset, nor will they even come close.

Pros: -Great audio
Cons: -Driver CD does not work with Windows 10
-Driver download from manufacturer also does not function even though it is labeled as "Windows 10". The software cannot detect a device.
-Headset is listed as Circumaural but it BARELY comes close to that. (I filtered my list by Circumaural in order to find one to purchase. This was listed there.)
-Mic is very picky as to when it wants to work

Fatal1ty by Monster FXM 200 Ultra High Performance Gaming Over-Ear Headphones, Black Matte
Pros: - Volume control on the dongle
- Detachable boom mic
Cons: - Not a lot of padding on the top means your head hurts after wearing these for twenty minutes :(
- This is sold as gaming headphones with a PC monitor, but requires a splitter to actually plug into a computer :(
- There is a mic on the dongle, which is misleading if you think that just detaching the boom mic mutes you
Other Thoughts: It came free with a monitor, and it works fine, but I wouldn't purchase it on its own.
I have a Fatal1ty motherboard and it's great, kind of disappointed in the headphones, though.

I used to have Sennheisers, which had the volume control built into the earcup - that is much easier to find blindly than the dongle.

Other Thoughts: Boy I wanted these headphones to sound as good as they looked. And they are very classy for the eyes to behold.
The ears... not so much. Please check out other reviews now that more have been sold at a steeply discounted price.
The reviews are polar opposite and I really don't know why.
Either all of us with low scores received a bad batch or the owners giving the highest scores have never really listened to full fidelity cans before.

Here's what I found: these are without doubt the muddiest, muffled with lack of clarity set of headphones I have ever listened to.
And that's saying something as I was a professional broadcast and party DJ for over 30 years.
Imagine putting your speakers in a loaded coat closet and then closing the door while you stand and listen in the hall.
OK, a little exagerated but honestly that's a pretty good analogy.

For two days I drove these cans with one of my vintage amps and quality stand alone equalizer. I muted all bass and had all mid & high freqs cranked to the max. I was hoping against hope to break in the drivers and have them at least start to pass through some mids and highs. I had zero luck. Flip everything back to any semblance of normal listening adjustments and there is nothing but booming bass and all other frequencies practically non existent.

Personally I have never heard any this bad but I'm sure there are many available for $6.99 at your local Dollar Store.
Other reviewers mentioned headband size and I also have to say I have no clue who or what sized heads these were designed for.

These Rosewill headphones have a list price of $89.95 and I was looking for a solution when I have to replace my Sony MDR V6 flaking earpads a couple times a year. At that price point plus the one or two glowing reviews I could find, I was hoping I could use the Sony's when I had new ear pads and the Rosewill cans when I was waiting for new earpads to arrive from the Far East.
Unfortunately the RWH 001 headphones have totally failed to impress me and my plan has failed miserably.

SteelSeries Siberia 800 Wireless Gaming Headset
Pros: great audio
simple to set up
lots of uses
Cons: padding is very soft, yet not large enough.
microphone on the headset is garbage.
price for headphones (when you'll have to buy ANOTHER MICROPHONE anyway)
Other Thoughts: definitely over priced. the audio is excellent but the microphone should just be ripped off and thrown in the garbage can. your ears will hurt early into gaming sessions because of how soft/small the leather on the ear pieces are. the softness is a wonderful feel, but with how small the ear pieces are you will feel the plastic of the speakers pressing into your cartilage. i have to wear a hat just to keep plastic inside the headphones from squeezing my ears so i can last at least an hour.

the audio is insane but the cons outweigh the pros on this headset. my ears hurt every day from using it and the price is ridiculous with all of the cons factored in. these headphones shouldn't have a mic, should have better ear piecees, and should be at least $75 less than they are.

Logitech G930 Wireless Gaming Headset
Pros: Plays sounds - sometimes
Cons: Can't stay connected sometimes even when fully charged and inches from the receiver
Almost constant crackling when it is connected
Other Thoughts: From what I understand, the interference is a known issue and something to do with wifi in the area. Logitech knows this and won't change it, and the only way to fix it is to customize your wifi enabled router to use a different frequency, or something of the sort. This is absolutely ridiculous that I should have to do anything to allow my headset to be connected mere inches from the receiver without any crackling and interference. I will, without question, never buy another Logitech headset ever again, for any reason.

Rosewill Prelude - RWH-001 - On-Ear Wood Headphones, Swivel Ear Cups, Headset
Pros: I read the reviews, but figured $30.00 with a $15.00 rebate on a pair with a $90.00 retail price they would be good enough for a backup pair if my good ones didn't last, and that they would get me through until I could get another good set. Now I have a great FLAC/MP3 player that has really good sound, and I'm used to really good quality from my current set. So I get these, and of course with the wood they look great. But I didn't buy them to look at; they're for listening. So I plug them into my player and WOW!! Now maybe I just got the best set they ever made, but this set is GREAT!! They seem just as good as my current set. I realize that all of these come from China, and sometimes you can get a bad set. But these are just so nice sounding with good bass as others noted, and I am really happy with them. So will they last? I can only hope so. But as for now I'm STOKED!! (I'm listening with them right now as I write this review.)

One other thing. I've been blessed with XXL sized ears, and was teased about being Dumbo in my childhood. (Kids are MEAN!!) And they're pretty much still BIG. But what surprised me is that this set is referred to as "on ear", yet even my bonus sized ears fit INSIDE the cups. So if you're looking for something that sits on instead of around your ears these may not be to your liking. But they are super comfortable, and block out a lot of outside noise, which I prefer.

Another plus is that they come with a decent length and high quality braided cord.

With all the negative reviews here maybe I did get the best set ever made. But if you can find them on sale or for a price that seems fair to you, I'd say give them a try. And if they don't suit you I know the good people at Newegg will RMA them for you. In my experience of several years buying from them, Newegg's customer service is the best in the business.

As for me and my new headphones....TWO THUMBS UP!

Rosewill Prelude - RWH-001 - On-Ear Wood Headphones, Swivel Ear Cups, Headset
Pros: - Really good looking
- Comfortable to wear (though the adjustment ranges from large to enormous)
Cons: - Sound quality is horrible
Other Thoughts: These headphones are VERY disappointing. Sure, they LOOK beautiful and are very comfortable to wear (although the smallest setting is exactly right for me, and I don't have a small head at all). The main problem is that the sound is absolutely horrible. The bass is heavily boosted to the point that it washes out the highs and mids, which some people actually might prefer. But to make matters worse, there is no clarity at all. These headphones have the most muffled sound I've heard in a very long time. Even a pair of $2 earbuds would usually sound better these days. I'd say that the sound drivers are about the same quality that you would find on the free headphones you used to get on airplanes.
I tried as many different kinds of music as you could imagine (country, jazz, pop, classical, rap, etc.) in both compressed and lossless formats, and on two different devices (and using both of the provided cables). There wasn't a single track that was even tolerable.

Pros: first of all, for a headset with this price, the sound quality is decent already. Just to be fair, you cannot compare it with some at $500 price level, right?
next, overall design is and build is worth the money too. I like the wood piece, kinda standing out from a lot of other headsets on the shelf, that was what caught my eyes.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: none

Creative Sound BlasterX H3 Portable Analog Gaming Headset, 70GH034000000
Pros: Great sound. Love the 3.5mm extension cable!
Cons: The right headphone snapped right off after less than 3 months. Went to put them on with barely any pressure and the plastic just snapped in half like it was nothing.
Other Thoughts: Bought this for my I.T. pro husband. Very disappointing quality control on Creative's part. If I get this replaced and the same happens again it will be very hard to buy a Creative product again!

Logitech G633 Artemis Spectrum USB Connector Circumaural RGB 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset
Pros: -7.1 Virtual surround is amazing, especially in games with a great sound engine. (i.e Battlefield 1)
-Comfortable for long sessions, I've used it for longer than 8 hours.
-Mic quality is clear, according to the other side.
-Logitec Gaming software is amazing and easy to use. Customize the lighting and EQ through there.
Cons: -Construction is ok, it's mostly plastic.
-Plastic creaking sounds every time I stretch it to put it on
-The clamping force isn't enough to stop it from sliding off when you tilt your head back a bit.
Other Thoughts: Great headset but the build quality isn't as good as it looks. Feels kinda cheap, and is not reflective of the price. It is good though, wait for a sale or promo codes. I'm not an audiophile, but coming from old $20 headsets, this is a big step up.
I also got this to compliment my G910, and I'm pretty satisfied.

-Doesn't look like cheap headphones
-Comfortable and comes with two braided cables, one plain and one with volume rocker and mic
-Detachable cable with gold plated cables

Cons: -Audio seems a little washed out, but its much better then other headphones at this price range
Other Thoughts: For the price, this is a must buy product. Luxurious design with decent audio.

GAMDIAS HEBE M1 Circumaural USB Gaming Headset with RGB Lighting / Virtual 7.1 Surround Sound / EQ Adjustment / Vibration Control
Pros: -Ive been through a couple headsets and this is by far my favorite for comfort.
-USB headphones and microphone have good quality output for a typical gamer like me
-Cable is reinforced and feels great
Cons: - I honestly cant think of anything other than you cant control the RGB, it just cycles through colors but you can turn it off by a button.
Other Thoughts: I got this free with a laptop purchase and I wasnt expecting much. I was planning on giving them to my wife until I tried them out and found them the perfect size for my ears. She took my old set from me instead so everyone is happy. I will look for this brand again if I needed another set.

HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset - 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound - Gun Metal
Pros: -Super comfortable on the ears over long hours
-Metal frame that won't snap at the cup connection like many plastic based headsets just from normal wearing (looking at you Logitech)
-Great sound with both high and lows
Cons: The cable has broken inside the braided cord right at the jack so now the right ear is dead after a few months (6/2/2016, dead on 11/14/16), and this was on the replacement because the original had arrived with a dead ear cup. So there seems to be some issues with the wiring in these.

HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset - 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound - Gun Metal
Pros: -Incredibly comfortable while very sturdy
-Amazing sound clarity
-Includes both Leather and Velour ear cups
-Includes drawstring bag for transport, as well as the box doubling for storage with foam cushioning
-Detachable Mic
-Braided cord

The list could just keep going honestly. I think the only upward movement from here would be some outrageous Sennheiser headphones and a nice condenser mic.
Cons: The price is above what an average user would drop on a headset I think, but I was lured in by a flash drive offer and I don't regret it.
Other Thoughts: Coming from a Logitech G430 Headset and having used a friend's Razer Tiamat true 7.1 Headset...The G430 would be a 7/10 mainly for reliability and entry level pricing. The Tiamat would be an 8.75/10 due to incredible immersion but a price to match, with a sound card expansion usually necessary as well as a buzzing mic while idle (probably due to feedback from all that power). All the while the Cloud 2 has me convinced at a solid 9.9/10 for landing near perfectly into the price/performance sweet spot. If you see this thing at the $80 price point I wouldn't hesitate.

- Easy controller on the cup on the left side

Razer Tiamat 7.1 Surround Sound Over Ear PC Gaming Headset
Pros: - volume control pod is great - easy to adjust/tweak/mute the settings - REALLY LIKE IT!
- mic works well (took just a few minutes to get it where it needed to be), but no complaints from those listening to me
- light weight
- USB cord(s) is braided and the length is convenient/appropriate
- volume is plenty loud and clear using my onboard 7.1 Realtek soundcard on a P55 MSI motherboard (haven't installed ASUS D1 yet!)
- bass is good
Cons: - wish the speaker/mic selector knob on volume pod was lit up as the other buttons and main dial/knob is
- depending on how loud I have my system volume turned up, I can hear a soft hum/buzz IF there is no sound being played at that moment. BUT, it is very simple to fix, I simply turn down the system volume somewhat and turn up the volume pod control somewhat and any buzz is gone - still sound very good!
- it does get a little bit warm under the earcups after gaming for a while, but it isn't too big a deal IMO...
Other Thoughts: I'm enjoying these headphones a lot! Overall, they're comfortable, light and perform very well. The mic is a tiny bit tricky to pull out with one hand unless you support the left earcup, again, not really a big deal.

For those that have complained about a hum/buzzing sound, I've ONLY ever noticed it as described above AND is easily remedied as described above. Also, Razer suggests using an external/AC adapter-style USB power plug if you can't resolve any humming sound (which I haven't needed to do).

Glad I bought these!

Rosewill RHTS-8206 USB Connector 5.1 Channel Vibration Gaming Headset
Pros: -Great sound
-Bass is STRONG!
-Loud enough to make your ears bleed.
Cons: -The shape of the ear-pads will crush your ears.
-The bass rumble feature on the lowest setting will give you a strange hum and induce a mighty headache.
-Did I mention how much the ear-pads will ruin your ears.
Other Thoughts: Do not purchase if you have a massive head and dumbo ears like me. The fact that this thing can rock your socks off like a death metal show and leave your ears ringing is it's best quality.

Pros: great headset. sound is amazing. mic works as they say
Cons: OEM!!! i recieved 2 of these headsets, both OEM. no where does it say they will be OEM.
newegg gave me a small credit, and that is a good gesture but still does not change the fact that they are advertising a full headset and sending OEM.
Other Thoughts: with that being said, i got it on sale at 79 dollars. and for the price it is amazing and i give 4 stars because of that. i am mainly upset about the false advertisement and not so much about oem. for 80 dollars it is money well spent.

Cons: A little heavy. I wonder if they added weights in it to make it feel more quality.

Rosewill Prelude - RWH-001 - On-Ear Wood Headphones, Swivel Ear Cups, Headset
Pros: -Stylish
-Classy
-Great Bass
-Quality Construction
-Very Comfortable
-Loud
-Detachable cords, one with and one without mic, both great quality but drawbacks are below.
Cons: -They come sounding a bit muffled, fixed using AudioFX on my Android
-Cords are too stiff, not a huge deal but the cord often gets in the way and doesn't just hang but sticks out and has a mind of it's own.
Other Thoughts: For the price, you just can't beat it. Whether you caught it on sale, full price, or free bundled, either way, I would've been happy to pay $30, $15, or free!

Corsair Gaming VOID USB RGB Gaming Headset - White
Pros: Truly beautiful product; RBG is bright is looks amazing with the white. This is the by far the most comfortable headset I have ever used, coming from Razer Krakens, Logitech G430, and HyperX Cloud 2, it is true that I forget that I that I am wearing it. 7.1 works as well as it can without be true 7.1. The software recognizes which product you're using, which makes the entire setup process simple; unfortunately it runs terribly, and takes forever to get into the settings you want from your dashboard, but that is not the one complaint I have.
Cons: The right side of the headsets adjustment seems to be looser than the left, which causes it fall down and me having to adjust it almost every time I would put the headset on. A minor complaint for such a great product, but a complaint none the less.

Plantronics RIG Flex Gaming Headset For Mobile Devices and PC, Mac - Brown Box Version
Pros: -I bought this when it was $20-$25 a couple of months ago, and for that price, they were perfect and have been working great.
-I leave the adapter in my PC so that I can transfer them between playing Xbox/PS4, my phone, going to the Gym, etc...
-The Wires are very durable, for now at least, I've bought multiple SkullCandy non tangle headphones, and those cords always go out after 3 months because of the twisting and bending at the auxillery jack.
-The Boom Mic attachment is perfect for gaming and VOIP.
-They are pretty comfortable and fit's on small/large heads
Cons: -The Phone wire adapter is a bit fidgety and I don't really use it for communicating or playing games. Simply as an extra connection to take on the run or to the gym for music.
-Slides off sometimes at the gym, but lets be real, its not what they were meant for!
Other Thoughts: I Originally was waiting forever on the new Astro A50s with the Base station($300), I really needed headphones now for gaming, and when this popped up for $20, I figured, why not? Now I'm not even interested in getting the Astros, Wireless headphones would be nice, but the way I have my set up, (Xbox in living room, Computer in Office) I wouldn't really be able to take advantage of the PC/Xbox Splitting option of the headphones, (Correct me if im wrong)

I bought another one for my wife a couple weeks later, because she kept taking mine. She pointed out the issues with the phone mic attachment, but regardless, it is comfortable for her and the sound quality is much better than any in-ear,over-the-ear headphone we've owned so far.

(Right now, the price is $40, I still think it is worth getting at that price. But I would advise to wait and see if there will be another sale.)

HyperX Cloud Stereo Gaming Headset for PC/PS4/Mac/Mobile - White
Pros: Premium build quality, bought it for $70 and I haven't regretted it since. Compared to endless turtle beach headsets and the Playstation Gold and original Pulse headset this Cloud blows them out of the water. Awesome sound quality and they're comfortable as well. The microphone hasn't had problems like other peoples, so if yours does its defective and need to exchange it. Since my mic works, it sounds nice and I love how it connects. This headset also comes with lots of extensions so yay for long desk.
Cons: When I turn the volume all the way up on the build in sound card/volume controller, sound goes out in one ear. Just turning it slightly to the side works while keeping full volume, but I feel as though it could break all volume some day.
Other Thoughts: I've had this headset now for over a year and it's treated me great. I ran over the mic several times with my chairs wheels and somehow it still works perfectly even though it looks broke. Not really a con but since this is the white version I have noticed the white right behind my ears has slightly discolored likely because that's where I always grab the headset. I haven't tried seriously cleaning it yet but I bet I could.

Pros: I have owned about 6 types of turtle beaches over the years all for around the price of about 60$ a headset. I have to say that the mic quality is on the low side with the minimal but noticeable static which is easily fixed by lowering mic volume, the sound quality is pretty high, recommended if you have a studio mic and only need these for sound and a cheap price these are definitely what you want. 7.5/10 overall

Rosewill Prelude - RWH-001 - On-Ear Wood Headphones, Swivel Ear Cups, Headset
Pros: Beautiful headphones and quality construction, except as noted below. Detachable cable is a nice feature for stowage while traveling. You get a spare cable as noted below. The earcups swivel so that the headphones fold flat for storage.
Cons: Earpads are plain foam, not memory foam as advertised. Sound quality is poor, like a pair of cheap headphones. It sounds like you are listening through a blanket. There is no high end and little bass. It has mid-range response only. On-cord volume control only works with smartphones, not with laptops - though you still get sound, you can't control the volume. You do get a spare plain cable without volume control.
Other Thoughts: I wanted to like this headphone, I really did. It is one of the nicest headphones that I have ever seen. Unfortunately, it just sounds bad with just about any style of music.

KOSS SB45 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Communication Headset
Pros: The headset is durable for an adult who takes care of their things, it only became damaged from neglect from a minor, durable; not rugged.
Cons: If I had one real complaint about this headset, it would be the microphone placement. I'm not really certain where a better location would be, but I find I don't like having the microphone in my face while gaming; and that's a flaw many headsets have, not just this one specifically.

Logitech G930 Wireless Gaming Headset
Pros: Wireless.
Good sound quality.
Surround sound.
Okay build.
Comfortable to wear.
Cons: Wireless connection starts OK then quickly starts to degrade over time until it is almost unusable by one year into its lifetime. The wireless only works up to 20 feet away, at which point it quickly loses connection.
Some parts are breakable, such as the microphone and the earphone joints. The battery can also degrade, which will cause the headset to be nonchargeable.
Other Thoughts: I would recommend customers look for an alternative product for their wireless headset needs. This product is not up to modern standards in its wireless connection quality.

SteelSeries Siberia 800 Wireless Gaming Headset
Pros: I use to have wired headset, usually the high end stuff; Sennheiser and AKG Studio serie most of the times and I was never disappointed. The thing that made me go wireless was the fact that the headphones wires would "split" and play unevenly and the fact that I wanted to manage my cell phone calls while I was gaming. This is the only product that I could find that would do all of it. The sound is VERY GOOD (though, not as good as my AKG Studio 240, but still) and the bass is really loud. Oh! and the batteries are awesome, will work for close to 20 hours each, as advertised. Extremely comfortable too.
Cons: One con that I saw coming back often was the lack of proper instruction ... Yo SteelSeries guys ! We're not all sound engineers the lack of instruction really pis***me off as I was trying to configure everything within Windows 7 when some the configuration was in the "base" box and even then, it's not that intuitive to figure out everything.
Other Thoughts: All in all, work great and if you have the $, go for it !

Sennheiser PC350 Special Edition High Performance Gaming Headset - Brown Box Version
Pros: Solid sound
Not too much Base
High Quality build quality
Super comfortable
Cons: Replacement Ear cups are difficult to find and are pricey.
The rubber piece on the mic boom has started to split after 2.5 years.
Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a gaming headset this is well worth the purchase. I have gone though 5 other gaming headset before this one (most only lasted 6 months to one year). After 2 and a half years of use the ear cups are wearing out and the rubber piece on the mic boom is spiting but the audio and the mic are still working perfectly fine.

Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Definitely recommended!

Corsair Gaming VOID USB RGB Gaming Headset - White
Pros: Coming from an RMA of a Logitech G35, I just Love everything about this headset which I got on sale for $70 with free expedited shipping from Newegg, given that I had bad problems with the Logitech G35 software. These are by far the most comfortable and best looking cans I've ever owned. Sound quality was better than the G35 as well, although the mic quality not quite as good but still very fine over VOIP. The RGB lighting I have set to flash Rainbow which matches the flashing Rainbow RGB colors of my Nitro RX 480, and my Corsair H80i LED.
Cons: The light for the muting on the microphone tip cannot be seen unless I take off the headset and turn them around, or look in a mirror. I suspect the orientation of my mic boom might not be correct as I cannot see how this could be the intended design, and probably just a flaw in the assembly of my mic boom and not normal for the product.
As others have said the cord length although functional for my setup, should be a bit longer.
Other Thoughts: I would definitely recommend this headset for any gamer that wants Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound and and a good Mic for Comms, with comfort for long sessions.

SteelSeries Siberia V2 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Full-Size Gaming Headset - Blue
Pros: good sounds (music, CS:GO, Overwatch)
comfortable (small or big heads)
pretty
Cons: Nothing
now for the however part. I'm a little miffed about how i received the product. unpackaged, came without the extension cord. somewhere along the line from china it gets processed and thrown into some Janky box with no foam protection so it gets tossed around, the box they repackaged it in was destroyed lol. luckily the product still works. i mean its 30 dollars for a quality headset. not worth the time to file a claim over it lol. really wish i had the extension cord for it tho.
Other Thoughts: 5 star product 2 star company Liketech. over all gave it a 3egg because of this IMO. when i buy something new i expect it to be new when i get it.....really P'd me off.

Sennheiser GAME ZERO PC Gaming Headset - Black
Pros: Sounds great and is comfortable; so great and so comfortable I've opted to replace them three times. I would have to draw the line on the fourth time though.
Cons: Mic boom detent fails over short period of time, thus rendering the mute feature inoperable. Extremely difficult to repair even if mechanically inclined.
Other Thoughts: The carrying case is nice. Who travels with these though? Seriously, I want to know... Would have rather seen the extra money go into proper mechanics of boom.

Logitech G930 Wireless Gaming Headset with 7.1 Surround Sound (981-000257R)
Pros: -Noise cancellation was fantastic and still works great
-Good battery life and easy to setup with a very nice range
Cons: Don't buy this product, you'll get ripped off as usual by Logitech, I tried yet another product hoping they'd improved but they just make crapwear that's cheap and dies not long after.

As of 11/4/2016 my headset is no longer working period and is completely dead. It didn't even make 90 days before dying.

-This thing after 1 month, now has terrible noise crackling and audio distortion. I keep reading online a ton of people have this very same issue and it is most likely because of the 2.4Ghz range it operates on? I'm not sure how much I buy that story because that'd be an issue from the get go. I've followed all the steps I can find online to fix this issue and nothing has fixed it.
-My head does hurt from wearing these after a little while, though that might just be my own thing and not an issue everyone else has.
Other Thoughts: -I'd have a hard time recommending this when it has so much audio distortion and noise crackling. Honestly it was a waste of $50. Just get save up and buy a really nice one if you want wireless. Apparently its either pay an arm and a leg for a good wireless headset or have a cordless piece of junk, no bargains exist in this area, nor will they for 30 more years it feels like. I bought these for them being wireless and a great price, now I know why they're marked this price.

Logitech G930 Wireless Gaming Headset
Pros: Comfortable.
Great sound.
Battery lasts a good long time
Easy to configure
nice base station
Decent range
Cons: HUGE- MASSIVELY PRONE TO INTERFERENCE.
I bought these when I lived in an APARTMENT COMPLEX. There were 175 wifi signals according to my scanner. These would not stay connected for longer than 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Disconnect then would reconnect so about 10 seconds of silence.

I bought a house in a tiny town on the edge. FIVE BARELY detectable wifi signals and I still had issues. I had to cut down to one signal running on channel 11 because these are STUCK on channel 1 2.4ghz wi-fi. It is terrible. It required a $160,000 fix that came with a house.

If you want to change anything on the setting you HAVE to download the logitech G software.

7.1 surround is provided by software and is ok if you are only using it for one application. If your a streamer, or like the have background music or youtube, or netflix running in the background then don't bother it confuses the software and sounds like garbage.
Other Thoughts: Before you disregard this as a salty review, I bought these and like them where they are good. They are GREAT now that I moved 25 miles away and changed all my set up. This review is literally being written after TWO AND A HALF YEARS of having these and trouble shooting and experimenting and changing things to try to get these to work.

Rosewill RHTS-8206 USB Connector 5.1 Channel Vibration Gaming Headset
Pros: - Sound quality is up to par, especially considering the price of the product.
- The bass vibration is an enhancement. I was worried that I would be annoyed by the vibration but it is enhancing in my opinion rather than overbearing.
- My voice quality was satisfactory according to my gaming buddies prior to the microphone dying.
Cons: - The microphone died after less than a year of use (subtracting one star).
Other Thoughts: I recommend this item for the price.

Razer Kraken Pro 2015 Analog Gaming Headset - Green
Pros: The sound quality is the absolute best I've come across from a headset by far. The mic is good if you use it as Push to talk,
Cons: VERY uncomfortable no matter how I wear it I am constantly shifting it every couple of minutes.
Mic picks up a lot of white nose. This isn't too noticeable if you have push to talk or other sounds playing over it but if your doing something like streaming it is something you will have to accommodate for as it is very audible.
It also had a very strange problem where audio picked up through the mic would play through the headset. The only way to fix this for a while was to disable my computer speaker output. Eventually the problem went away for no apparent reason.

Logitech G933 USB Connector Circumaural Wireless 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset
Pros: Excellent product, the sound quality is great, I actually got startled when a zombie came up behind me in one of my games which hasnt happened in a long time, this is DEFINITELY a gaming headset, not one you'd really want to carry around with you if youre listening to music on the go, they are honkin' huge! Good battery life, and you can continue to use them while you're charging them. They fit snug on my head, but then again I have a melon for a noggin so just about anything fits snug on there. I can imagine if your head is smaller that they could start to fall off, but for me personally they fit very nice. The mic is good, I haven't had any complaints about it when I'm online but I haven't had any compliments either, as in anyone saying that I sound more clear or anything, so from what I can gather it's a great mic, but it's not perfect, then again what is now adays? You do get almost exactly the amount of battery life that the mfg states, roughly 8 hours w/ the lighting, 12 w.o. So I'm happy with it. The wireless USB plug is hidden under one of the magnetic plates, both of them are removeable which is an awesome feature because if the battery does start to die I have access to it behind the other plate. The software to configure the headset is nice, though it did take me a couple of trys for it to update the firmware, mostly ID10T errors though, because I didn't sync the headset properly with the USB receiver. Make sure the headset is turned on before you insert the receiver into your computer and you won't have any issues.
Cons: Now onto the flaws, like I said it fits snug, which isn't a problem but it does get slightly uncomfortable after 3 or 4 hours of use, not too much of an issue to me personally, that just tells me it's time to take a break and stretch my legs. The expanding attachment that connects the two speakers worries me, it seems somewhat flimsy and I can have a temper at times...seeing as how I spent a good chunk of change on these I dont plan on throwing them but with the wireless tech there's definitely the possibility. I can't take an egg off for this because they did so much to make this a great headset already, but it would've been nice if they added a kind of fail-safe if the headset and receiver aren't synced like it wouldn't work, or it would've made a beeping sound like it does when the battery is out of charge or the mic gets muted or unmuted. Again can't take a star off for my own stupidity lol. The only thing I can take a star off for is how flimsy the plastic is that attaches the speakers, you would think that they'd make it larger seeing as how they have two bricks covering your ears, but if this is anything like my old Logitech headset then I'm not too worried.
Other Thoughts: I would definitely recommend this to someone who is tired of ripping their headset off of their head when going to reach for something because of the cord. Be gentle with this headset is my word of advice, I dont think that the plastic is that weak but I dont plan on taking any chances with these puppies.
